1 In Windows 2000 and XP, modes above 2560x1024 (2 x1280x1024) are available only in 16bpp. All compatible modes are available in 32bpp in Windows Vista.
2 In Windows 2000 and XP, modes above 2048x768 (2x 1024x768) are available only in 16bpp.
3 In Windows Vista, the maximum available resolution is 2048x768 (2x 1024x768).
4 Please run the Matrox GXM System Compatibility Tool to ensure that your GPU is capable of achieving this resolution. Some ATI FireGL and ATI Radeon (pre X1000 Series) GPUs support a maximum resolution of 2400x600.
5 ATI Radeon graphics disable D3D caps in desktop resolutions above 2048x1536
The "maximum resolution" is defined as the single screen resolution multiplied by three screens. For example, 3840x1024 is the total resolution across the three screens, each screen running at 1280x1024 resolution.
"2D Windows applications" refers to the maximum resolution that office applications can be set to for business use (ie. Email, MS-Office, etc).
"3D fullscreen" refers to the maximum resolution that a fullscreen 3D video game can run.
Under Windows 2000, when the Monitor Console is connected to a notebook only the Monitor Console displays will be active - the LCD screen will be disabled.

1 An Apple™ Mini-DVI to VGA adapter is required to connect to the VGA input of the Monitor Console.
2 ATI Mobility Radeon X1600 may support a limited resolution list when the notebook LCD is active. This can be corrected by updating to the latest ATI drivers and EFI through the Mac OS Software Update utility.
3 Only iMac 17" equipped with ATI Radeon X1600 can achieve the maximum resolution, systems equipped with Intel GMA 950 are not supported by the Monitor Console.
4 With ATI Radeon X1900, the maximum resolution cannot be achieved if a DualLink monitor is connected to the graphics card in addition to the Monitor Console .
5 ATI Radeon 9600 and 9650 support a maximum resolution of 2400x600 on the Monitor Console.
